I've been looking specifically for a sectional for months. Every few days I'd check Facebook Marketplace, Craigslist, local Furniture store sales, etc. I know it's dumb, but ever since I learned that they exist, I've desperately wanted one with power outlets and USB ports in the storage console.

I saw this posted yesterday morning on CL. I just knew it would have some catch or be tattered or smell terrible or be filled with spiders. If I wasn't just being lured to a rape and/or murder. I was only comforted by the fact that she said it was so cheap because it was incomplete and she was moving in a couple days and needed it gone asap. Then after I got her address I googled the street view, saw a very nice little upper middle class suburb. So fuck it, it was my dream couch and I had to try, called my cousin and he brought his truck and we headed out for an hour drive there.

When I pulled up and saw it sitting in the garage looking just like the pictures she posted, and even bigger than I imagined, I started grinning like a fuckin goober. I still can't believe I just paid $60 for this. There is minor wear/little holes/scratches on a couple of the pieces, but only on the sides that won't show when it's connected. Dunno how she managed that. Everything else is nearly flawless.

She told me a lot of people were gonna be upset because the emails were just pouring in after she posted it. Obviously. She even said "I started thinking, boy, I should have charged more!" I almost felt like I was taking advantage. It was listed for $50 but I had 3 20s and just couldn't bring myself to ask for $10 back so I told her "Here, just take $60." She was like "Thanks! Still a deal though huh?!" Fuck yes, yes it was.

Now I've been online all night learning about sectionals. I want to find 1 or 2 pieces for the left side to finish it. But it will still be awesome until I do. Please help me figure out where to buy individual pieces that somewhat match what I've got and will work with the connectors it has. That's the info I've failed at Googling, can't hit upon the right words to find something so specific.

Sorry this is long as hell, I'm still excited and only now starting to come down. Yep, buying a couch has given me a high better than actual drugs. Damn I'm getting old....it's awesome.
