Just going to throw this out there - Looking for a simple way to have students record themselves pronouncing their names. I want them to be able to follow a link on their phone, record their voice, review, and submit. I don't want them to have to download a plugin or anything. And I don't want to use flipgrid because I want to keep it super simple.
NameCoach is what I want to do, but it is not integrated with our Blackboard.
Any suggestions would be appreciated!

FlipGrid works for this. You could have them introduce themselves. It has a very fun feel.

Voicethread? Is there a way to do it as an assignment in blackboard where you create the assignment, and the student submission is a video or audio file? We use Schoology, and one resource we have on tap is a thing called a “media gallery” that students submit to. You create it as a resource or assignment. Students click it and upload whatevs file they need to. So see if your blackboard allows you to create an assignment or something?
