I've come to share details about customizing the bill payment stub template in QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT), @KathyR. ·   · For the time being, customizing the bill payment stub isn't an option in QBDT. That's why the template doesn't have buttons for Additional Customization or Layout Designer to make changes to it. However, you can print (from the File menu's Print Forms option) it to view the list of all the bills you've paid. First, you'll need to ensure the setup of your printing preferences is accurate in the Payroll Settings. If you're using paper for your paystubs, I recommend choosing the Paystubs on plain paper, so you won't have a problem aligning your payroll data. I'll share details about producing paystubs for contractors in QuickBooks Online. · Currently, generating or creating pay stubs for your contractor isn't an option. You can create a check and print it for recording purposes. · Here's how: · Go to the Payroll menu on the left panel. · Choose the Contractors tab. · Select the dropdown next to the contractor's name and click Write check. · Select the expense account you use to track paychecks from the Corresponding account in QuickBooks field. · When you're ready to prepare the check, hit Save and Close to send the check to your print queue.
