You probably didn't look at the fine print prior to purchase, as online images on the money card does state "No Monthly Fee with qualifying deposit". Even the One reloadable debit card notes "No Monthly Fee with an additional deposit*"
In the fine print, they note a direct deposit of $500 or more required to waive the monthly fee for the next month (the legal print notes "a direct deposit of at least $500 in the previous month" to waive the monthly fee).
This is a clear case of "Caveat Emptor" here & you only have yourself to blame for your oversight.
