October 28, 2023I finally did it. Ordered my first Hearing Aids (Rexton Reach, from Costco)
Please report back how they work for you. I went to Costco and the tech steered me away from the Rexton (to Philips 9040s, to be upgraded to 9050s). Said she had so much trouble with the Bi-Cores, >50% returns. Problems were dead unit, dead battery, battery not holding charge, bluetooth connections dropping, especially with Android. Sennheiser does make a pretty solid hearing aid. If you have the money for it and you have very severe hearing loss, they're good. I'm not sure I'd recommend them as a first choice. My opinion is to go the least expensive route first since the vast majority of people looking for hearing aids aren't a whisker away from being deaf. Something like this would work for most people at literally 1/10th of the cost at most. More on reddit.com

Please tell me your experience with the hearing aids sold at Costco. What is the quality of product like? Their pricing seems to be about 1/4 of what I was quoted for "mid range" hearing aids at an independent hearing centre. Is Costco's markup that much lower or does the pricing reflect the quality of the product?
I'm completely new to hearing aids, so I have no reference for comparison. I really would appreciate the guidance of this community.

The only place I have been to but it was a great service. Been three years now, going back to get new ones in a few weeks. My ks 9.0 had a problem and they sent them back and got me new ones no questions and no hassle. Very affordable and a life improving product. Would recommend.
