Been having this issue as well, I have a total of 9 TT fans on my computer and it drives me nuts. It works 5/10 times, but out of those 5 times that it does work, two of my fans and the TT pacific Lumi plus strips are not recognized. Never buying or recommending TT products ever again. The software is so bad. I wish I knew ahead of time. You can try to uninstall and reinstall the TT RGB software, I’ve had luck with that. But it hasn’t performed 100% perfectly for me in a while. Always something wrong.

I’ve been using signalrgb for a while now and like it. Their supported devices list has a few different Thermaltake specific devices. https://signalrgb.com/devices/ The free version works well for what I need (swafan ex14 and my TH420 connected to my motherboard rgb header). :) More on reddit.com

Agreed , after troubleshooting for at least an hour looking up everything I could trying to fix the issue, all I discovered is that there are wayyy too many people with this same problem that arent being helped. More on reddit.com

August 14, 2024Terrible RGB software.. what the heck?
I had some issues with the controllers recently, but seemed to have gotten them working by changing out the molex plugs to a better one and then replacing the USB cable. But, TT RGB constantly crashes for no reason with no error message or anything. The program just closes down, and if I re-open it, the fans get the profile back again, but then it might randomly crash again at some point. Think I'm done buying anything Thermaltake. I just installed 5 of the Thermaltake riing plus 12 fans and now when I try to go into the software it says that there is no fan controller detected and that there is error H_0x0001. I checked and made sure that everything was plugged and I'm pretty sure that USB 2.0 is as far as it can go. Does anyone have a fix to this problem?

Long due, but I found a project (Very awesome one indeed) that addresses multiple types of RGB compatible hardware devices.
This is the PPA:

As most know tt plus rgb sucks. I myself have tried all versions and I can't get it to work properly. Does anyone have an alternative to tt plus via a git hub file or some other option?

Not only the software sucks. But the controllers don't always get detected. Evrytime i turn on my machine on average at least 1 out of the three controllers are not detected. At random. So the controller not detected will have its fans running the default rgb mode. And the software doesn't detect on a rescan. Can anyone recommend an optimal setup for connecting fans to motherboard so they are always detected? I have a Asus proart x670e-creator. I have 9 fans. Riing quad, 3 connected to each of 3 controllers. Would the tt sync controller be better than the standard controller that comes in the 3 riing pack? What about the H200 plus controller? Perhaps I should not daisychain the controllers or is there a better controller out there? Would greatly appreciate some advice.
