I've always sworn by using usb flash method.

Have the b450 f Rog board but never liked the idea of internet flash and have heard similar stories to yours.

If it is a bios flash failure it is likely bricked. RMA is your best bet

Just got the confirmation email for my preorder and their site is now reflecting mine (and one other) Formula preorder. There is a cancellation button you can use on their site at any time and they don't actually bill you until it's shipped, so if you want to make sure you have a motherboard this seems to be a safe bet! They only have about 20 of each motherboard on order.

Yes, all 3rd/4th Gen Ryzen CPUs use the AM4 socket with the exception of the Threadripper series so the Ryzen 5 3600 works with this MoBo. The board has two x16 PCIe slots where you can mount the RTX2060s but check your tower space as you may need to make adjustments because Nvidia cards are rather large these days. One thing to note is that Nvidia's 2000 RTX series cards do not take advantage of the PCIe Gen 4 architecture this MoBo comes with.

The question is actually quite misleading just because I couldn't actually explain it properly without making it too long, but my real question is, should I get the Asus Rog Strix x570 f gaming motherboard over the one that I was gonna get which was the Asus Rog Strix x470 f gaming motherboard? Here are the rest of the PC specs:

CPU: Ryzen 7 3700x

GPU: Asus Rog Strix 2070 Super 8GB OC, (has PCIe 3.0 not 4.0, so I guess not an advantage to the new 4.0 on the x570 f gaming)

Memory: 3600MHz CL16 from G.Skill

Storage: 250GB NVMe M.2 SSD from Samsung, and a 120GB SSD from ADATA

PSU: Corsair HX750 Platinum

Please leave your thoughts, will really help in making my final decision, thank you for reading :)

I have the x470 version. It's pretty great, and while I'm assuming it'll get Zen 3 support nothing is guaranteed at this point in time. With x570 you get 100% certainty that you'll be able to swap up to Zen 3 in the future. Plus PCie 4.
