Would you consider changing the rug? It’s dark and heavy looking, especially with the dark couches. I like the wood colour of the side table in pic 3. The tv stand + cabinet colour is off imo (clashes with the floor) but you already have those two pieces. More on reddit.com

The space has a lot of hard lines in the fixed elements, so this is a nice opportunity to bring in something curvy. Aside from the floors and fixed elements, it doesn't look like there's any wood in the space, so I'd choose that as a material choice to incorporate new texture (I'd opt for dark, like walnut). Depending on your storage situation, this could be an opportunity to incorporate storage. Your other furnishings all extend visible space (i.e., you can see through them) and so I'd similarly opt for something raised off the floor on legs, even if they're short. Target something that is 2/3 the size of the couch. Maybe it's the camera angle, but I'd move the couch more onto the rug if you're not adding more seating. More on reddit.com
