Hi, so I've recently upgraded from a headset microphone to the Samson Q2U, so I'm pretty new to all of this.
Everything sounds fine, my only concern is that it came with a USB-C Port despite the listing showing a different port for setting up via USB.
If they've updated it, nice, but a part of me is is a little worried as I can't find anything about that online?
Would anyone with a bit more knowledge help me out?

UPDATE: Samson got me back to me, it's real! "Thank you for contacting us! That is indeed a real Samson product! We have updated the microphone to usb-c, and just started rolling out the new models in Jan 2025. Congratulations on being one of the first to receive the upgrade!"

Hey guys,
Brand new to podcasting, purchased the Samson Q2U microphone and was hoping to pair it with my MacBook Pro (13'', touch bar, M1 chip). However, there is no USB port hahaaaa. I know that's an awful rookie mistake and I should've checked.
Watched some YT reviews on this microphone, and I really like how it sounds so I would like to stick with it. Anyone have any good recommendations on good USB adapters?
Thanks for taking the time to read this!
Just buy an Amazon Basics USB C to USB A adapter and call it a day
Just for clarity so you can use proper terms: your MacBook has a USB port, it's just a USB Type-C port, or more commonly referred to as USB-C. The other port you're missing is a USB-A port. Everything's moving to Type-C over time, and we'll eventually have fewer and fewer devices relying on A. In the meantime you need just literally any C-to-A adapter, but you'd probably be best off getting one that gets you a couple of type-A ports so you have a more useful port overall.
