Do you think the film sequel has potential to be a success despite parody movies not being big in the zeitgeist anymore? I suppose it depends on what movies they will parody.
Though not often emphasized in US discussion, it's worth remembering that Scary Movie has historically performed very well in Latin America, especially Brazil, a huge comedy market. If the Wayans deliver globally recognizable humor (slapstick, absurdity), international audiences could drive solid returns, even if the US cultural moment has shifted.
