In the past, I've never been able to set up a same day return with Fedex (they say it has to be next day), and I have medical tests I do from a company that uses Fedex that have to be returned the same day they're collected. So my parents would take it to a drop box which they're now refusing to do anymore.

So I woke up in the middle of the night on purpose to set up the return, but Fedex is closed (which you only find out after going through a very frustrating, not-too-smart IVR system—I gave it a ton of information, spelling my name, etc., tracking number, which it misunderstood a million times--then it said it was transferring me, then it said they were closed—it also thought my name based on my phone number was a super long number that it read out). I assumed they'd be open 24/7.

What time do they open? I want to call as soon as they do to try to get a same day pickup.

I tried searching and there are no answers online as to when FedEx's phone service opens (only when local places open) and their own phone system can't answer the question as to when their business answers are.

And is there any way to schedule it online? From what I can tell, there isn't. Everything requires an account number which I don't have. I just have the label that comes with the test.

I've been trying to days to schedule a pickup, but it keeps looping me back to the same place, is there any trick to scheduling? (I have a Fedex account). I've tried Safari and Chrome browsers on mobile and desktop, as well as the app. And have tried chat, but it just keeps asking me for the tracking number and then not getting any further. Fedex has been cheaper lately, so I'd love to utilize it for my business shipping needs, but need packages picked up or it isn't worth my time.
