I'd buy one again if the one I've had for ten years ever goes belly up. I only got rid of the one before that because I somehow managed to pick up something very foul smelling and couldn't get the machine to stop stinking up the place even after replacing the filters. Insufficient on board storage of accessories does seem to be a theme for Shark as mine didn't make room for the extension wands and furniture/stair attachment included. I'm wondering how it is too especially compared to Dyson. I bought recently the Shark hair dryer and sadly it was a bit disappointing the lack of power it had compared to Dyson. I'm returning that but don't wanna write shark off as they seem like a good brand with reasonable prices.

My place is only 792 squire feet. I have an older corded shark regular-size vacuum but want something smaller for a regular clean up and I do have a dog so I would like something decent for dog hair and crumbs on the counters and floor. I don't mind-bending. I have mostly hardwood floors besides a rug that I can use the larger vacuum when needed. I really want something convenient so I will actually use it. Trying to live a more clean lifestyle in many ways.

I live in a small space with hard floors, so I don't necessarily need a full size vac. This plus an occasional sweeping works perfectly for me day to day. The upholstery attachment does a great job vacuuming the two rugs I have. My previous experience with handvacs is that they normally start losing battery and then just stop working in less than a year, but this has been going strong for me this entire time. I also forgot to clean out the filter for 2 years (oops), but it still worked lol. And then it worked SUPER GOOD once I cleaned that out 😂 I probably use this every other day to quickly go over the exposed hard floor areas that collect loose hairs and dust with the extended brush handle, and quickly sweep over the rugs once a week. I probably spend 5 minutes doing either. This vacuum works well and really helps my place keep clean. I highly recommend it!

It's good for picking up small messes. Definitely wouldn't replace your main vacuum no matter how small your place may be. Just for spot pick ups

Is the vacuum charging at all? Does it charge from 1 light to 2? I don't think it would charge at all if there was a problem with the connectors. I think if it is still charging the most likely problem is the battery is wearing out or it has a failure in one of the cells. Batteries across all brands are the main source of problems in cordless vacuums.
