How to hide a collection/products from the search, using tags?
If you are okay editing your code it takes one line. We use it for our clients. Tag your products you want to hide “hide” or maybe “no_show” ( you can choose anything really ) In both search.liquid & collection.liquid find the “for” loop. It will look something like this. {% for product in collection.products %} Or {% for item in search.results %} And right under that line do this {% if product.tags contains “no_show” %}{% continue %}{% endif %} Or on the search page I think it’s something like this ( on mobile & tired can’t confirm/remember) {% if item.object.tags contains “no_show” %}{% continue %} Basically the {% continue %} tells the code to “skip this item”. You might want to do something on the product.liquid page as well to safe guard that page too but if you get this far and need that code let me know lol I can come back More on reddit.com
