Mini-LED TVs | Best Buy Canada
When you have a traditional LCD TV, the TV will have a backlight made up of a few hundred LED lights. The TV will have dimming zones, and those zones will control the colour and contrast of the display. Mini-LED technology uses much smaller LED lights, and because of that your favourite TV manufacturer can pack thousands upon thousands of these Mini-LEDs into your TV.

Are there any truly bezel-less mini LED tvs?
We have a 2x2 setup of bezel-less NEC displays in the conference room. The lines are still there. It's much better than our previous setup, but you're always going to have a gap between the panels. The only way to get a giant display that's seamless is a projector or an LED wall. More on reddit.com
Hi, are there any 32" mini led tvs available currently?
I think you need to look at monitors if you’re going that small. Acer and BenQ make mini led monitors and I’m sure others do as well. More on reddit.com

Which 43-inch TV is right for you?
The answer to this question entirely depends on what you want to use the TV for. If you're looking for a simple upgrade, you'll want a TV that offers the same access to your favorite apps as the model it's replacing as well as better picture and sound quality. For movie and TV buffs, picture and sound quality are top priority. So you'll want to look for TVs with support for HDR codecs like Dolby Vision or HDR10+ as well as Dolby Atmos for virtual surround sound or object tracking sound for audio that follows the on-screen action. And console gamers will want a 43-inch TV with a dedicated gami

How did we choose these 43-inch TVs?
While testing and researching each 43-inch TV featured on this list, I kept the following criteria in mind:Picture and sound quality: Whether you're looking for a smaller, secondary TV for your bedroom, or a high-quality 43-inch TV for your apartment or dorm room, it's important to get the best picture and sound you can for your budget. My pick for the best 43-inch TV is the Samsung QN90C for its Pantone-validated QLED screen, Dolby Atmos support, object tracking sound, and support for the Samsung Gaming Hub. The Gaming Hub gives you access to cloud gaming services like Amazon Luna, Xbox GamePass, and GeForce Now so you can play your favorite PC games from the comfort of your couch or wherever you travel. Best Mini LED TVs 2024 (budget, 4K and more)
January 2, 2024 - Mini-LED TVs only came onto the scene in 2021. As the name suggests the diodes (the things that are emitting the light), are much smaller than in traditional LED displays. This gives the screen far more ability for local dimming, as the backlighting for a region can be far more precisely turned off.

Affordable MicroLED TVs drifting far, far away... again
November 10, 2021 - MicroLED TVs are supposed to have no weaknesses: pixel-level control, absolute blacks, very high brightness, extremely high contrast. You’d have to spend $160.000 to get one though. (Image: Samsung) Since then, though, it became apparent that Samsung has hit the very same wall (huh) with Sony regarding MicroLED: the extremely difficult manufacturing process - each LED corresponding to a single pixel of said screens is as thin as a strand of human hair - results in depressingly low yields, so these cannot be anything but obscenely expensive.

November 11, 2025 - And while we can’t see it dethroning the best OLED TVs we’ve reviewed as the top dog in the top end of the market this year, if you’re on a budget it’s carved a strong track record in the mid-range and affordable TV space recently. Highlights include better contrast and light control, when done well, than basic LED sets and increasingly impressive black levels. Which is why you may be considering a Mini LED set as your next TV.

I'm looking for the best non OLED TV I can get in a 43". Is the Samsung QN90b it? I'm looking for mostly gaming. I prefer Sony TVs, but I need a smaller one and I can't find any mini LEDs in this size. The QN90b is out of stock on Bestbuy's site, so I'm not sure what to do. I hope we still see it on Amazon for a great black Friday sale.

Yeah, but their response times are nowhere negar as good as their picture quality. Better than Oled for console gaming though as Oleds have shitty motion handling at 60 fps and below.
