Is SNL new tonight, October 11, 2025?
Yes! A new episode of SNL airs tonight, October 11, at 11:30/10:30c on NBC. The new episode will be available to stream next day on Peacock.
Bad Bunny kicked off SNL Season 51 last week, on October 4, with Musical Guest Doja Cat.
Who is the October 11 SNL Host and Musical Guest?
Amy Poehler and Role Model.
The former SNL cast member returns for her third time hosting, nearly a decade after she last hosted with Tina Fey in 2015. Poehler is already regaling new featured players with tales from the olden days, back when the "Weekend Update" desk was a public park and there was a man named Kenan wandering the halls.
Role Model, whose real name is Tucker Pillsbury, will be making his SNL debut, during which fans are keeping their fingers crossed that he'll perform his hit song, "Sally, When the Wine Runs Out." The big question is: Who will get to play Sally and join him on stage? Bowen Yang has already done it once, but that doesn't mean he can't reprise the role? We'll just have to tune in to find out!
Tonight's episode airs exactly 50 years after SNL premiered on October 11, 1975, and while the major celebrations went down in February, you might as well keep it going with a toast to a well-earned birthday.
Where can I watch old episodes of SNL?
You can stream every single episode of Saturday Night Live on Peacock right now.
Welcome to the SNL live discussion thread! The host this week is the returning Miles Teller, and returning as Musical Guest; Brandi Carlile. For those new to the show, tune into your local NBC affiliate or Peacock around 11:30 PM ET to follow this episode live.
And if you're here early you still have time to do your SNL predictions for this week that are due at the start of the show! While you wait for the episode the University of Southern California Trojans are back in prime time again this week taking on the Nebraska Kernhuskers!
Enjoy the episode!

Edit: It must have been an unauthorised upload - it seems the official ones aren't accessible here in Australia. No mystery after all, sorry! 😛
G'day, I was just halfway through laughing at Colin Jost and Michael Che give the latest Weekend Update, which had a bit on the end of the title something similar to "Did They Go Too Far?" - and then my playback stopped and the screen displayed "Video unavailable|This video is private". I wasn't paying enough attention so it may have simply been someone else's upload and it was taken down because they weren't a channel approved to upload that, but usually you see a different message when that happens.
The address was https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_CNGEsdZVYI
I've checked YouTube Video Finder and no luck there. Just wondering if anyone else has a source, or knows why it may have been pulled? 🤓 Obviously they said a lot of offensive stuff and directed plenty of jokes at Trump and others, but if anyone knows of specific legal actions taken, that could be interesting. Thanks!
There were no guest spots and the jokes went by very fast.
