Markdown clearance schedule at Staples?
Clearance
Bankruptcy forms on clearance is unintentional irony at its best.
Considering these are forms you can find and print online or even fill out online for free all of this stuff is so outdated

I'm bringing this up because I've noticed my local Staples doesn't consistently update their price tags. The price at checkout often ends up being lower than what's shown on the yellow tag. For instance, I recently saw an item with a regular price of $13.99 marked down to $9.49 on the yellow tag. However, when I peeled back the smaller price sticker, the previous markdown was $11.46, while the actual checkout price turned out to be $6.49.
In another case, I noticed some toys and LEGO sets were marked down (yellow tag with a print date of 12/26/2024 to 12/29/2024) simultaneously across four different Staples stores in my area. However, certain items were discounted at one store but not at others.
It seems like the markdown schedule depends on the individual item, which creates issues for me when trying to maximize the $10 off $30 coupon. The subtotal often ends up being less than $30 minimum.
Also, it making difficult for me predict whether I should wait for the next markdown and how long I should hold off on purchasing.
