Structube deleting every negative comment on their IG faster than their furniture falls apart. Must be easier than fixing their quality issues
Is the quality for a lot of their furniture pretty good? I can’t afford Pottery or Renovation Hardware for sofas or chairs, not even close.
I saw some 700-1400 couches online from Structube and they look very nice. Is it worth it or will it break down in a year or 2?
I am asking about Structube chairs in this Montreal forum because Structube has been in Montreal much longer than Western Canada.
I am looking at some Structube dining chairs, but I have a relative who weighs well over 300 pounds. I cannot find specifications on the Structube site about weight tolerances for their furniture.
Does anyone have any information about or experience with these chairs that could help me decide if they would be safe for my family member?
I do love Montreal and my father was born there. I was lucky enough to be taken to Montreal to visit my father's family many times as a child and of course I have returned as an adult, though most of my family have passed away. A great city.
What was your experience like purchasing furniture from a Structube Edmonton location? How were they in resolving issues?
There is a sofa I want to buy from them, but the negative reviews of how they handle damaged or defective items is concerning, especially if issues arise outside of the 7 day return window. If I could find a similar style Canadian made elsewhere I would pay up for that, but haven't come across one.
So I recently moved to Toronto, and I thought, let me get something for my apartment that's not from Ikea, so I thought, let me try Strutube!!! Man, that was a mistake!! I should have read the reviews on Reddit first! I got two bar chairs( kitchen island style) and two regular bar stools; the stools were in stock, and the chairs were not! I thought, let me purchase anyways, so maybe they will send a partial order, but nope, it's been 3 weeks, and the order status says Strutube is waiting for chairs (restocked by April 21) to ship all together 🤷🏻♂️
Why not just release a partial order? They already charged about $60 for delivery, so why are they hosting items already in stock? What's the rationale?
Has anyone recently experienced Stuctube delivery delays? I am reading people spending a lot on sofas, and it takes about 7 months to get them!!! I wish I had read the reviews first, but I thought I was supporting a Canadian company! 😔
EDIT: finally today (04/16) Structube Items arrived in good shape!
Considering spending a decent amount of money at Structube.
Looking up reviews, there's tons of negative ones from across Canada, Calgary included, but a lot of the complaints aren't any different from the experience you'd get from other furniture retailers, and some of the bad reviews are just....unreasonable, tbh.
Structube's prices are about the same as IKEA so I'm not expecting the best quality, or even the best customer service. Just want to make sure if I spend $3000+ on items there I'm not dumping money down the drain.
Is anyone able to share their experience with Structube? Would love to know the quality of their sofas, accent tables etc. Apparently their beds are garbage, but I'm not looking for a bed from them anyway.
Item I'm eyeing the most is this sofa: https://www.structube.com/en/kyle-sofa-19-91-27?pid=23856
A lot of the bad reviews are about their delivery service, and I would be able to pick up most/all items myself with a truck assuming that's possible .
Would also be open to other furniture retailers, but not looking to increase my budget drastically. West Elm and EQ3's price points are much much higher.
IMO I’m not a big fan of structube, we have a few pieces and they aren’t very well built (think terrible fit and finish, wobbly tables, etc). For the price I prefer ikea, yes they are similar but I feel structube is a bit higher and the pieces are a bit trendier.
If you like west elm for the mid century look, I recommend buying second hand from places like Reclaim to fame (they have an online store as well), or Murphy’s mid century in inglewood. Good prices, knowledgeable people and they are always getting new pieces in. I hope that helps!
I bought a couch from there, after a year, I couldn’t sit on it, it was so flat. You can’t remove the seat cushions on the model I bought. It’s currently a cat bed in my spare room till I can get it out of my house.
$1100 dollar mistake, plus the delivery company they use sucks — like super sucks.
So far i have purchased 2 ergonomic chairs online and none of them have me satisfied. They are around CAD $250 and i am aware at that price its hard to justify comfort.
Recently I purchased this https://www.amazon.ca/Mimoglad-Ergonomic-Adjustable-Headrest-Armrests/dp/B09N93L2RQ?th=1 chair, the problem is my feet doesn't touch the floor at lowest , uncomfortable and seat is quiet firm. Worst thing was it went on sale $100 off the day after I purchased SMH.
Yesterday i went local store called Structube furniture store and i found this ergonomic chair https://www.structube.com/en_ca/ergo-ergonomic-office-chair-84-86-71?pid=48626#product_description When I sat on it was amazingly comfortable. Does anyone know about that chair about its reliability or if it lasts long ? Is it worth the price ?
I was browsing through Structube's sofas and bed frames and noticed they have a lot of unique trendy pieces. However, the prices are too good to be true! Less than $1000 for a three seater sofa?! How is the quality of their products? Do you guys have any other great furniture websites?
Hi everyone,
Has anyone gotten this loveseat and dining table chairs from structube?
