Not really anything you can do. If you stretch them (you probably can’t), they’ll just look stretched. To make them not look stretched would either be impossible or so expensive that you might as well buy new pants. You can taper straight pants at a tailor, but not vice versa, because the material you’d need to do that isn’t there. I guess they could remake the entire pants to narrow them all the way through, but that would basically be a different size pant, and would again be way more expensive than just buying new pants. I'm a 5'9 165 [M].
I took advice from this sub and ordered 5 pair of champion reverse weave sweatpants in size medium. I'm not exaggerating when I say each different pair fit anywhere from a size small to a size 3XL, while all being "size medium." I have a black pair that I can barely fit around my legs and waist because they are so tight, and I have 4 other pairs that are so large I can wear a pair of shorts and another pair of sweatpants underneath them, and they are still so loose that I have to tie them as tight as the string allows, then they still fall off. When I put them on and pull them out to their maximum width, it appears that I could fit 3 of me in them. It is by far the worst quality control and experience I have ever had with a brand, and I am deeply regretting spending hundreds of dollars and am now beyond the return window. Do not buy champion reverse weave.
Having said that, please recommend me a better brand that actually fit and are quality. :)

If you can get them on sale, then go for reigning champ. Great quality stuff - including sweatpants - made in Canada. They were the contract manufacturers for supreme - dunno if they still are. The Chinese stuff is questionable though.

i’m on the search for a good pair of sweatpants that would fit my boyfriend for christmas. he’s 6’4, has a slim build, and has loooong legs.
preferably pretty relaxed fitting instead of a slim – any colours/price range!
i’ve been looking at abercrombie/hollister but their tall inseams are listed as 30” and 30.75” and i’m not too sure if they’d be long enough on him!
any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

update: the abercrombie essential baggy sweatpants (tall) fit him really well! he says they’re the most comfortable pants he owns now and wears them all the time :D
