r/arduino on Reddit: What's the point of using the Teensy 4.0/4.1 when the Pi Zero 2W is much more powerful yet cheaper?
August 8, 2024 -

This is more related to microcontrollers/SoCs in general, but with a faster clock speed (1ghz vs 600mhz), same RAM, more powerful main processor, cheaper (assuming you're not restricted to pi scalpers), 40 GPIO pins vs 27 GPIO pins, and Wi-Fi and Bluetooth support not found on the Teensy. Is there something I'm missing? Why do people (especially like Zack Freedman) prefer the Teensy so much over the Pi Z2W?
