You're going to have to use one of the smaller models to get any reasonable performance. Parameters of 2-3b can be handled by a pi5 (running gemma:2b outputs roughly as fast as I can read). The smaller models aren't really good for answering more than a quick question, tho. You'll have to find a way to interface with the terminal yourself to output it as voice. There are libs for this in your language of choice. Also, processing it into speech will have overhead as well. Haven't done that to mine so idk how well it will run.
