Should I watch the Crown season 5
How ‘The Crown’ Season 5 Gives Up on Subtlety, in Five Increasingly Tortured Metaphors

[...] contentious divorce between Princess Diana (Elizabeth Debicki) and Prince Charles (Dominic West, doing his best despite being wildly miscast)
I think the Queen/Britannia should have been #1 because they dragged that one out all season and was the most in your face of all these in my opinion.
The Windsor Castle one I actually thought wasn't too bad, for being such a big ordeal they didn't spend too much time on it and didn't feel too heavy handed to me.

I kinda hate the Townsend glorification. Both Margaret and his second wife where really young (legal, but just with a giant age gap) when they met and began having a romance. I am also not sure if Margaret really thought about him that much later or really saw it as that much of a missed opportunity, she had other lovers (and they even depicted that in Season 3 or 4, whenever Roddy was). I don't mind them meeting again, I believe they did, but not every person mourns a crush from when they were 20 forever. Also, where are Margaret's kids?
Generally, I wish there was the amazon thing where you can see the actor and the role name. I have no idea who the Queen is supposedly talking to half the time because the courtiers, politicians and friends all look like old men in nice British tailoring.
More positively: new Camilla and new Diana are perfectly cast.

I am nearing towards the end of season 4 and I have been loving it so far! However I found the Charles and Diana drama slightly annoying to watch and considering that a good amount of reviews for season 5 say that it is going to be centred around them, I'm not sure if I will enjoy season 5, as I prefer watching the and personal side of the queen and the political side of the show.
The next few weeks are going to be busier than usual for me. But if season 5 is anything like season 4, I can definitely make time for the show. Would you recommend that I start season 5 despite my hectic schedule and will it be worth it? Are there any episodes in particular that I should watch?
