Just do this (worked for me): 1) Install the driver from here: https://www.synaptics.com/products/displaylink-graphics/downloads/macos 2) After installing the Displaylink Manager, close the program (click on Display link icon in top menu to the right (where wifi etc icons are as well) and select "quit") 3) Open the software again 4) Here it was tricky for me: when DisPlayLink Manager is open, and you connect the USB-C cable to the MacBook, a pop-up appears where you need to "allow" DisplayLink Manager to work with the monitor/dock.

My workplace recently sent me a hybrid USB C dock for home use - it works perfectly with my work laptop and monitors etc. However, when I try to connect it to my personal computer (MacBook Pro 15-Inch "Core i7" 2.6 Touch/Late 2016) my monitors don't work.
Not sure if i'm missing a particular display driver on my macbook pro, or if there is purposefully a lack of compatibility. Any advice you may have would be really appreciated!

Hi Everyone,
I am having issues connecting my Thinkpad docking station with my Macbook Pro 2017. I am running OS Version 12.2.1. The Macbook charges when connected but the monitor does not work. I tried looking at several forums and contacted Apple Support and tried contacting Lenovo Support but I got no answers or help. Anything would be appreciated!

Hi, can anyone help me - I can't make the DisplayLink Drivers work. I have an iMac MacOS (Sonoma 14.4.1.) My ThinkPad PC is also connected to the dock via a HDMI to USB-C cable. The iMac and the PC are not connected In the DisplayLink app I just says "No DisplayLink-enabled display detected". And "Please allow your DisplayLink device to connect to this Mac" What am I doing wrong? Thank you :-)

In case it helps: I'm running a macbook air M1 and got a thunderbolt lenovo docking station. First I thought it's not working, then I realized it is only working with one of the usb-c ports on the mac (for some reason)

While Lenovo doesn't supply a driver for the display adapters, the chipset inside it (and as far as I can tell, all other USB 3.0 to DisplayPort devices) is provided by DisplayLink. You can install the generic DisplayLink adapter drivers directly from their website at: http://www.displaylink.com/support/index.phpI installed the v2.2 drivers on my 10.9 MBP and the display immediately popped up on the attached monitor after the required reboot.There are also installers for 10.4 - 10.5 and 10.6 - 10.9 in the same driver download.-Tim
