Another point to add; did it ever occur to anyone it never made it on the truck? I had to leave 24 stopped (36 packages) behind today. My truck was completely full. If that happens, and you see the driver off loading furniture, workout equipment, or any other big box, then that's why your package didn't make it. My hub is tiny. We are processing 30k plus pieces of mail, daily. That is 10k over peak. More on reddit.com

Our current CEO has made a lot of negative customer service decisions the last few years so customer service has definitely gone down. However statistically UPS still has the highest percentage of on-time deliveries and lowest percentage of loss in the industry. More on reddit.com

So I liked the "Follow My Delivery" feature initially but recently it has become an area of frustration.
This morning it told me to expect my delivery between 9:30am and 12:30pm. Around noon I noticed it had updated to "In Your Area" and I could see the driver literally blocks away from my house. However, within 5 mins the map updated and the driver appears to have passed my house and is now on the other side of town. The delivery estimate then updated to "To be delivered by 9:00pm". I would be far more understanding if this is the first time it has happened but ALL of my packages over the past few weeks have updated like this.
What gives? Why would the driver literally drive past my house but not stop only to have to backtrack later to drop off my shipment. Looking at the map, the driver appears to always head to the same location. Almost like they decided to go to home.
Edit: I have attempted to flair my post as Rule#5 requires for the subreddit but I am not seeing the option. Has this been disabled?

Business deliveries are the first priority. They all have to get done before 5PM. Drivers also have scheduled pickups that they have to complete at certain times every day. It is completely normal to have to skip residential deliveries and come back later in the day after businesses and pickups are done.
