We don’t for those reasons, basically. So many people have come back after international usps shipments and claimed they didn’t want the post office to send it- no matter how many times we clarified it wasn’t through UPS. Now we’ll let customers know the post office price, but recommend that if they want that, it’s inferior in such and such ways, and they’d have to go to the post office directly. More on reddit.com

USPS Priority International - No updates in 2 weeks
I don't have any suggestions or advice to give as I'm in a shipping predicament myself with USPS and ISC Los Angeles. My package has been in transit for 38 days. I really wish you the best and that your packages get where they need to go. Just know you aren't alone!

It's definitely the cheapest option. If you are shipping something uber valuable on a corporate account, consider DHL or another shipping service, but the average consumer would be well served by USPS> More on reddit.com

Do your stores ever send international shipments through USPS on CMS? My store owner always tell us not to give our customer the option because it’s unreliable and we can’t offer tracking. Is this true? Never ran one through before.
There’s so many options too and I have no idea what the difference in all the post office options are because we’re told to run international through UPS every single time.

We don’t even use USPS for Canada, and never for any other international. Only ship international through UPS, we won’t even send a letter unless they come in with it pre stamped and drop it off. When sending anything through USPS we flat out tell the customer that no we will not put a value on your item at all because it’s going through the post office, they are impossible to deal with and you have no chance in hell of ever getting them to pay out. If there are any problems whatsoever with your Postal shipment, you must go through the post office because we will not help you. When corporate called us up once because some idiot made a complaint on her postal shipment for $1,000 in damage, I flat out told them to get bent, and there was no way I’ll do anything beyond telling the customer what I’ve already told them, "Go to the Post Office and file a claim." Never give any declared value on any postal shipment. Never ship postal international. Never take any USPS drop offs. Ever

What's your experience with USPS international first class mail?
USPS Priority mail is fast, consistent, and very reliable. USPS first class international is unreliable and inconsistent. When I had photo albums sent over from China, the shipment was lost and we thought the package was unrecoverable. It was delivered one and a half years later.

Answer (1 of 2): Yes, free for you if the item is shipped to be paid for by the other party. (I.e. International Reply Paid mail). Mail the other party pays for by sending you international reply coupons. If you mean does the USPS move something at its cost? No, except for official correspondence...
