November 4, 2023 - Glenn Youngkin signed the state budget into law. Included in that budget was a one-time tax rebate for individual and married Virginia residents who filed their 2022 income tax returns and have a tax liability.

The General Assembly passed a law giving taxpayers with a tax liability a rebate of up to $200 for individual filers and up to $400 for joint filers. You must file by November 1, 2023 to be eligible for the rebate.
