So the Walking with Dinosaurs reboot came out and many of the complaints are indeed true. Rather than a straight documentary narrative, each episode is intersected with modern day excavations to explain the narrative better. In essence it's like Planet Dinosaur and to a lesser extent Sea Monsters, but it definitely lacks the heart of the latter.

December 20, 2023 - Not only having some more extinct animals is more exciting in comparison to the stock footage of modern ones, but it’s also the only way I see to showcase Paleocene in the “Walking With…” series or, more specifically the Nacimiento formation that is crucial for our understanding of the post-K-Pg world. This concludes my creature list for a Walking With Dinosaurs reboot/remake/whatever you will call it.

There is absolutely no way this petition will convince BBC to remake the Walking With series, that's just not the way the world works.Right, sorry. ^^; I was benevolent and good, but misery made me a fiend! ... I just would so rather have a completely new dinosaur documentary series all about the cool and amazing ecosystems that where around during the time of the Mesozoic era and the cool animals that lived during those time
