FYI about WARN Notices. The NYS WARN Act requires covered businesses to provide early warnings of closures and layoffs to all affected.
FYI some companies stagger layoffs to somehow avoid having to actually appear on this list. I’m not sure how that is allowed. More on reddit.com

WARN Notice
The Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification (WARN) Act generally requires companies with 100 or more employees to give a 60-day advance notice in cases of mass layoffs or plant closings. A mass layoff is defined as a job loss for at least 500 employees or 33% of the workforce at a single site over a 30-day period. However, some states have their own "mini-WARN" laws with different requirements. For example, New York's Mini-WARN Act requires employers with 50 or more employees to provide a 90-day notice. It's important to note that there are exceptions to the 60-day notice requirement under the federal WARN Act, such as in cases of "unforeseen business circumstances" that involve a sudden and dramatic economic downturn. This exception is subject to a fact-specific inquiry to determine if the circumstances were genuinely unforeseen and if the employer exercised commercially reasonable business judgment. If you're looking for the specific WARN notice from IBM, you might want to check state government websites where the layoffs occurred, as they often list WARN notices. Also, keep in mind that the timelines for these notices can vary and may be filed before or after a public announcement. For a more comprehensive search, you could access databases that track WARN notices, like WARNTracker. https://www.warntracker.com/ https://www.warntracker.com/company/ibm https://www.dol.gov/agencies/eta/layoffs/warn https://factorialhr.com/blog/warn-act-explained/ https://www.mintz.com/insights-center/viewpoints/2226/2022-06-22-news-recent-layoffs-prompts-review-warn-act-whats More on reddit.com

Is this 6% in November part of the layoffs happening as part of the 15% or is this separate from that ? :(
