Wedding Dress Shopping
You’re probably gonna wanna be near the Reading Bridal District then, there aren’t a ton of spots in/near Reading that I’m aware of, especially Hilton. Probably best areas nearby with a lot of hotels are either blue ash or Sharonville. More on reddit.com

Shopping for a wedding guest dress
Nordstrom and The Bay should have lots of options.
If he will always take his mommy's word over yours DO NOT MARRY HIM!!!!
You will always come second, you will be on the defence all the time, you will grow to resent this manchild and eventually you will look down on him in disgust and possibly hate the jerk.
There is no amount of money spent on a wedding, even if you can't recoup it, that is worth the misery that will come from a relationship like this.
Postpone and go to couples counseling. Taking a step back will allow you to see the whole picture and make a decision with your brain and not your heart. Don't fall for the sunk cost fallacy.
I went dress shopping in November for my August wedding. We hit 5 stores in 3 days which was a lot (mom came in from out of town) but I found my dress at store 3! My tips and feedback: Wear nude underwear. I had shapewear underwear on as well which wasn't necessary for the particular dress styles I liked but it might not hurt to have with you just in case Don't plan on wearing a bra when you're trying on dresses. I brought a strapless bra and never even wore it - just went braless To that end, be prepared to dress in front of the stylist as they need to help you into the dresses. Some will turn around, one store had a curtain, but just be prepared as I wasn't and it took me aback in the first store. Bring shoes like ones you may wear - even just having a dress sandal with a little heel helped me better make decisions All the stores I went to I made an appointment, I didn't feel it necessary to go somewhere else first but I also crammed a lot of stores in one trip since my mom was coming from out of town. I would say just go to the places you like and don't waste time at David's Bridal if it's not a place you plan on looking for a dress. One of the 5 stores we went to I was unsure of and just added it on for the sake of it, and it was such a waste of time. All the dresses were older styles and it was a bad experience. I'm also a bridal size 14/16 (street size 10/12) and sometimes the dresses just made me feel really bad about myself because they clearly wouldn't fit or clip in the back. Just keep reminding yourself its not you, it's the dress! Sometimes this can make it hard to gauge whether a dress looks good on your or not cause it's clipped all weird. Ask if the store has multiple sample sizes - a few of the stores I went to did and this really helped. When a dress actually fits you its easier to decide what you like! A lot of dresses will be very pretty and you will look good in them or really like them, which is so exciting! But ask yourself - can you picture yourself standing next to your partner on your wedding day at your venue getting married in that dress? My aunt was with me and kept asking me that when I found a dress I loved and it helped me immediately know if it was 'the' dress. So I recommend making sure someone you are with asks you that throughout! One of the stores I went to only let me keep 2 dresses in contention at a time. This was VERY helpful because again, a lot of dresses are pretty or fun but that just makes the decision harder. So when I tried on a dress, I had to decide if it was better than the other 2 favorites which then makes the decision a bit easier since you're comparing to a smaller subset Be honest with stylists about what you like and don't like about a dress as you try them on so they can better find additional styles for you. I was open to a lot of styles and silhouettes, but as I started trying them on, it was easy to nix certain things. Don't be afraid to negotiate. One of the boutiques said if we bought the dress that day they'd give us a veil for free. We said, well what if we buy it within the next 48 hours since we do have other appointments already made, the manager said sure and in the end I did end up buying my dress within that 48 hours and got my free veil! Finally, as cliche as it sounds, you will feel 'different' in your dress. That said, I do recommend going to one or two more stores after you feel you find your dress (whether another day or another week) just to be certain. I went to one store day 1 and everything was just fine but nothing blew us away. Day 2 the first store we went to I thought I found a dress I really liked (it helped that they stylist had me close my eyes, put a veil on, gave me a fake bouquet, and turned off the lights and then BAM I opened my eyes and just felt like a bride!) but then the second store we went to I found THE dress. I just came out of the dressing room smiling. I didn't want to take it off. We went to another store (the bad experience) and I couldn't stop thinking about that dress. I went home and couldn't stop thinking about the dress and being next to my fiancé at our garden wedding in that dress. Day 3 we went to one final store and while I found another dress I really loved, I still couldn't stop thinking about that other dress. I even showed the stylist and she said "that is totally your dress, go get it" which was super cute lol. Anyways, I hope that helps! Most of all, drink water, eat food, and have fun!!! I found dress shopping to be an overall really fun and memorable experience though it was stressful and overwhelming at times More on reddit.com

Any advice on where the best place to book a hotel, preferably a Hilton (points), that is near or walking distance to dress shops? I am aiming to hit as many dress shops as I can all while staying nearby the hotel. Any stores you recommend I’d appreciate too. Thanks!
