So my partner and I currently have my family's old Pottery barn couch. It's about 15 years old and still looks new (I do take very good care of my home, so I understand that is a part of it). We want to upgrade to a larger sectional and different color to match our vibe more. So for Christmas we received $1200 of Pottery Barn gift cards from our families, to use towards a new couch at either PB or West elm.
We want a bumper chaise sectional in a dark brown color, both stores have a lot of options but the thing I want most is quality. Any style recommendations, or tricks to suss out which styles have more durability/longevity? All help is appreciated!
(currently I like the "Harris" at West elm and at PB the "Cove", "Carmel", "Shasta", "Jake Modular", & "Canyon". Let me know if you hate or love any of these.) Thanks!

We're looking at the Harris sectional by West Elm - does anyone here have it or have any opinion about it?
I'm really interested in getting the Leon Wood Frame 82" Sofa in mauve velvet. I am seeing many awful reviews of West Elm in general on the internet and not much good. Most of the bad reviews are about the shipping. I don't mind waiting longer than its currently predicting (June) as we have a couch already.
Do any of you have good or just fine experiences ordering online from West Elm?
