Just spent an embarrassing amount of time trying to find BHLDN’s Instagram page (was searching @BHLDN in the search bar) just to find out they’ve since rebranded into Anthropologie Weddings! I understand that BHLDN was always part of Anthropologie, but am curious as to why they’ve decided to change names all of a sudden?

Because those are from the current spring/summer collection, I don’t think they would go on sale until the new S/S collection comes out. Like, a bunch of their dresses from S/S 2013 went on sale just before these came out. You could probably just call BHLDN and ask, they’re pretty nice. Look for some preowned ones, you can also try the website OnceWed.

I am posting this to alert and inform other brides to be. I ordered a dress from BHLDN that was supposed to ship out February 7th. I then received a notice that it wouldn't ship out until February 17th and then February 27th. Now I just received another notice that it won't ship out until March 31st !!!
I chose BHLDN because the dresses are ready to ship. Now the dress is going to be at least 2 months late ! But I am getting married in May... I'm so upset ... because this dress is NOW not going to get here in time for alterations. Honestly I don't think this dress is going to show!!!

I had a wonderful experience with BHLDN and this seems like not the norm. Have you reached out to them and explained your situation? They have superb customer service. Edit: their customer service in store is great. I’ve also DM’d with them on Twitter. Worth a shot!

Everyone has different experiences. I ordered a dress from BHLDN it came in two weeks I think less! It is just the style you went with. They obviously had stocking and shipping issues, some maybe out of their control. Just cancel and get your money back. I’ve ordered so many things from various companies and it happens the shipping date just keeps getting pushed back! My experience with BHLDN was excellent! Sorry it didn’t ship on time though but it doesn’t mean they are a horrible untrustworthy company. Wanted to add in, can you look at other style dresses that will ship to you on time??

I am just starting my wedding dress hunt and have heard incredible things about BHLDN. When I browse their site though - none of the dresses are my style. Absolutely no shade to anyone who found their dream dress at BHLDN, they just aren't for me.
I'm still deciding on a silhouette; I either want a ball gown, fit and flare or a-line. I love tulle and lace - and I know that I want an illusion neckline and a low/open back.
It seems like mostly everything on the BHLDN site is satin (which I absolutely don't want - not my vibe). It also seems like a lot of "statement dresses" (https://www.anthropologie.com/shop/watters-venus-satin-lace-draped-wedding-gown) - which again, absolutely no shade but is not my vibe. I only saw two pages of wedding dresses, and none of them anything I would wear. It seems strange that such a popular bridal store would have such a limited selection with so little variety.
Do BHLDN stores carry more inventory in person than what's shown online? Am I like technologically illiterate and missing it on their website? I just feel like I'm totally missing something because I've had so many friends (and seen so many posts here) who've spoken so highly of the dresses!
Just feeling overwhelmed with my search and don't want to waste anyone's time with an appointment if there's nothing there for me.

Are you looking under “weddings” then “bride” then “wedding dresses”? Because they have many different silhouettes and materials. They have a pretty broad range for the price range.

They will not have more dresses in store; in fact, stores may have a smaller selection than what is shown online. I think it can both be true that many friends of yours love the dresses, and you don't see anything you care for! Watters (ironically, which Anthro carries some dresses by) has many dresses that may be up your alley, like Esme , Capricorn , Montgomery , Luz . This and this Etsy designer also has a lot of illusion neckline dresses! I'd focus on finding designers with dresses containing the elements you do like, and going to stockists that carry those designers.
