Black Friday ads tend to come out in the early weeks of November. However, you will find that some retailers wait until the last-minute to reveal their Black Friday ad — and the deals you can expect to find!

It varies by store, and most stores don’t stick to the same schedule each year. We see some ads drop in late October, while Black Friday purists — we’re looking at you, Home Depot — still wait until nearly Thanksgiving to unveil the good stuff. Meanwhile, some major retailers have ditched traditional ad scans entirely and opted for press releases. Black Friday 2025 is on Nov. 28, but Walmart's Black Friday Deals Event #2 starts on Nov. 25 and runs through to Nov. 30. This year, Walmart's first Black Friday Deals event kicks off on Nov. 14 and runs through to Nov. 16. Walmart+ members have five hours of early access to the sale at 7 p.m. ET on Nov. 13. This sale runs in stores and online. Walmart's second "official" Black Friday Deals event runs from Nov. 25 to Nov. 30. From Nov. 25 to Nov. 27, deals are only available online (stores are closed on Thanksgiving Day) and from Nov. 28 to Nov. 30, you can shop deals in-store and online.
