Hi, I just received two renders from our contractor. The cabinets are prefabricated so there’s only so much they can do with the space we have. My current dilemma is what to do with the corner cabinet. We can either do a slanted cabinet that’s more practical but more dated, or something more modern with right angle cabinets. The trade off with the 90deg cabinets is that the cabinets will all be mismatched in size. The sink in the island may also not be centered with the hood/oven/stove if we play around with the cabinets more. We’re not looking to move the sink out of the island either as that will require a permit. We really don’t want to go down that route as this could push things back by months where we’re at.

My husband also thinks it’ll look nicer if all the top upper cabinets are glass. Need to confirm on the design soon so that they can get the order in. Thank you!
