r/TechSEO on Reddit: Google Search Console + Wix
April 1, 2024 -

Hi. I'm overseeing the SEO for someone's business on a Wix site. When the owner set up their website, Wix walked them through the standard SEO checklist and now they have an existing verification in Google Search Console.

There doesn't seem to be a way to get verification in multiple Google Search Console accounts, however. Is this true?

Ideally, I would like to manage this entirely from my accounts (and I already have Google Analytics going + limited site admin).

Is there a way around this or should I suck it up and just use their login credentials? I'm also open to alternative solutions 🙏🙏🙏

EDIT: To clarify, again. The Wix site is already verified in the owner's Google Search Console. HOWEVER, I want it verified and running in MY Google Search Console. Are multiple verifications in this way possible or do I have to login into THEIR Google Search Console or switch users in Wix? I'm looking to avoid either of those two options, but I understand if that's not possible.
