So unless you have a question about something specific, these are both suitable for an absolute beginner, many enjoy them. Have you checked to see when each was released? Total noob, never played a keyboard before. I'm not looking to be a professional or go gigging, just want to play some of my favourite songs. Been thinking about getting one for a while, only started looking into it the past week and I’m stuck between these two:
Roland FP-10 for £350
Yamaha P-145 for £300 (£350 but there’s £50 cash back available)
Was originally comparing the FP-10 to the P-45 and I was edging towards the FP-10. Then I find out that the P-45 has been discontinued and there’s an improved version out, the P-145. Now I’m back to the drawing board. Had a surgery and can’t move much so I won’t be able to go in-store to test them.
Consensus online seems to favour the FP-10 but most opinions are before the P-145 released, I also see the FP-10 has better action and I like that it has Bluetooth. To me, the P-145 sounds a bit more bright and vibrant. Was also made aware of a ‘clicking’ issue with the FP-10 which apparently affects all boards with the PHA4 action. But I don’t know if it’s a vocal-minority with this issue or it’s quite common. I just don’t want to spend a lot of money (to me) to get something that could/will have a issue early on. Thanks for reading and apologies, I’m sure you guys are bored with these questions.

It's super personal. But since you can't try em out, I'd say the roland FP10's action is tougher to press down than the yamaha, but it does have more polyphony meaning more tones that can play at the same time. The sound is extremely subjective so I recommend just watching video comparisons. Or better yet, just wait until you can physically try both because you'll immediately know once you try the two.

Don't overthink it, they're both good. Which one is better is entirely up to you. Just buy one and start practicing.
