Hi all, I'm a caterpillar mechanic that works on old trucks, I do a ton of broken bolt extractions. I'm looking for a 1/8" collet die grinder to use with carbide burr bits to make getting broken bolts out easier than just drilling them out. I currently have the mac tools 1/4hp 1/4" collet die grinders which work okay but I want something that I can use 1/8th inch carbide burr bits for the smaller stuff. Mac doesnt make a 1/8" collet for these die grinders unfortunately. Most of the bolts I have to drill out are 5/16". Looking for suggestions on some decent medium to heavy duty die grinders that can use a 1/8" collet. I searched ingersoll rand and other similar companies, can't seem to find anything other than dremel that have 1/8" collet and I dont think dremel will last very long in this application since its for work not just a hobby it will see a lot of use. I just got a new grinder that I'd messed-up in thinking it was more of a grinder (it seems more of a dremel - can't take >1 1/2" discs!) Anyways I'm on the fence about whether to keep it or not, as I'm having trouble finding a good variety of 1/4" shank attachments, it's like tools like this must be wayyy more often in 1/8" shank... So I guess I'm hoping to find out if I can buy and install a 1/4" collar into this grinder, or maybe if there's some online retailer that's got a good selection of 1/4" shank bits? Am looking through home depot, lowes etc websites and there's very little available for it (fwiw, I'm using it for carving wood, am trying to use this as my 'finer/precision' tool, alongside a 4 1/2" angle grinder for larger work)

[edit- also am hoping someone can explain to me what 'brushless' means? I'm seeing grinders described as 'brushless', the only thing I can tell that's different about them is they're all cordless models, and google's been no help finding a description of 'brushless'... am guessing it has something to do with the little baggy that came with my grinder, that had two 'replacement' carbon metal brushes....am very curious if this is the 'brush' referred to in brushless and, if so, whether the brush inside my die-grinder is considered a 'disposable' part? I've never opened a tool to repair it and am intimidated by doing so, the fact they included two of these replacement brushes has me a bit worried about their expected lifespan!!]
