I've been using the standalone App for yeqrs with dropbox and the license says it was for life so I expect to be able to find the App.
I want to install on a different machine and I tried to download the 1password7 from here: https://app-updates.agilebits.com/product_history/OPM7
as it's nowhere to be found on the 1password site.
And none of these seem to work, they are not using the same vault that all my other devices using are which is 1password.agilekeychain', rather it wants something ending in .opvault.

So, I noticed that the 1Password app download links go to some different locations—google, apple, hockeyapp.net (never heard of that one?).
I usually like to verify my downloaded installers with a checksum. A lot of Some sites post links to md5 or sha256 hashes for their installers on the downloads page (like VirtualBox for example).
Are these posted somewhere for 1Password apps? I can't find them. I did find a related support thread, but it's from 2011 and the links are dead.

We do offer MD5 hashes of the downloads. If you goto here: https://app-updates.agilebits.com/product_history/OPM4 You'll see downloads for each version of the app. Copy the download link to the clipboard: https://c.1password.com/dist/1P/mac4/1Password-6.8.8.pkg now add .md5 at the end: https://c.1password.com/dist/1P/mac4/1Password-6.8.8.pkg.md5 Paste back into your browser window's url bar and you'll get the md5. For the zip, change .pkg to .zip and add the .md5: https://c.1password.com/dist/1P/mac4/1Password-6.8.8.zip.md5 We also verify the integrity of the app during updates. Installing 1Password 8 via MDM | 1Password Community
1Password 8 is currently not on the Mac App Store, I'm happy to switch to a pkg or script based installation method, but I cannot see any way of achieving this. The zip file download from the main page is an installer and not an outright .app or .pkg we can use for distribution.
