I need to replace my old TV and I've always wanted a bigger TV like at least 55 inch. Wondering what prices I should be looking for on Black Friday to know if it's actually a deal or just fake discounts. I've seen 55 inch TVs anywhere from like 250 to 1500 depending on brand and features. Trying to figure out what's reasonable for something decent. Don't need top of the line OLED but also don't want the absolute cheapest garbage that'll look terrible.
Mainly for streaming netflix and stuff, some sports occasionally. No gaming so don't need crazy refresh rates or whatever. Just want something that looks good and is reliable. Also where are the best deals usually? Last time I bought a TV was like 6 years ago so no idea what the current situation is.

Just a quick update for everyone Black Friday is almost here and I've been checking the prices to figure out a good target number for a quality 55 inch TV. For a decent 4K model from a reliable brand like Hisense TCL or even a lower end Samsung we should be aiming for a price in the 300 to 500 dollar range. What's your budget? Is there any light that's going to reflect directly on the TV? If you don't have reflections to deal with, then the TCL QM7K is on a great sale at Best Buy. If you're dealing with direct reflections, then Samsung QN90F has a matte screen, but it's double the price of the TCL. If you have a Best Buy near you, look at both if you can.
