I am trying to learn javascript in 2020 from the book " A Smarter Way to Learn JavaScript "( by Mark Myers ) that was written in 2013 probably and ES6 was released in 2015 so is it right to think that this book is outdated as of my knowledge there must be a lot of new concepts introduced in new ES6. So can i still use this book? I am confused.
I've covered the fundamentals of HTML and CSS in CodeCademy, and now I'm trying to learn JS. Picking up a few books.
Was wondering how "A Smarter Way to Learn JavaScript" by Mike Myers is.
The reviews on Amazon are off the hook with positive reviews, but it does seem kind of fishy as a lot of the accounts who reviewed the book seem to only have reviewed this book.
I could be overreacting, does anyone have any experience reading this book and the exercises?
