Hey folks, I bought some acacia hardwood outdoor furniture last year and I think I need to oil it to keep it in good nick, just unsure what oil to use and how to actually apply it.

I'd use a blend of boiled linseed oil and beeswax. Really stinky initially but smell won't last long outside. Gently heat 1 part beeswax until it just liquifies then add 3 parts oil (the cold oil will prob solidify the wax), warming until it liquifies again, allow to cool. Do it outside if you can as the volitiles in the oil smell a lot. The oil soaks in and the wax will stay on the surface to help protect it.

I use forestwood decking oil on mine. Someone else recommended linseed oil which isn’t great for outdoor furniture as it’s not UV resistant and mildew loves it.
