June 15, 2020Elago case & dust cover - 9/10 (lanyard separate)
This is the Silicone Basic AirPods Pro 2 Cover in GloBlue from Elago with their Dust Guard in space grey. The lanyard is a separate purchase from eBay.
The cover goes on and off easy, has GOOD adhesive that keeps the top on, and the main reason I got this is because IT ACTUALLY HAS HOLES FOR THE LANYARD ATTACHMENT. Like why do the vast majority of cases not allow for this?? My main complaints are that it collects lint someone easily (though no easier than the case itself) and that it prevents MagSafe charging. A large wireless pad will change it but not the actual watch charger, it can’t find its footing through the silicone.
The dust covers were an ASS to install but easy to correct during. Case closes normally and I won’t get those gross black spots.
The lanyard was an absolute saga to find but I’m glad I did. It clips on easily and is close to the belt loop, which I prefer since that keeps it from getting tangled. Just make sure to take off the ring when you’re first looping it over itself. The lanyard with this little plastic piece to go between your phone and your case so you can hang it through the charging port of your case, if you like.
