Well, they made the noise cancellation noticeably worse on my pro 1, after they released pro 2… so I’m sure it is better on the newer ones. I used to use it while vacuuming or when I was on a train and you can definitely notice the difference then. More on reddit.com

I recently changed my AirPods Pro 2 from lightning to USB C version even though they were working perfectly fine, because honestly, AirPods are absolutely great.
But the past few weeks, I've been noticing deteriorating noise cancellation on my AirPods where even not-so-loud noises are audible unless I push the volume all the way up.
Just want to confirm is this only happening with me or others are facing the same issue?

Don’t let these people gaslight you. It’s software, and apple slowly rolls it back to make noise cancelling less affective. This was a big issue early on when users noticed this issue following a software update, tests were performed and proved the noise cancellation had been diminished. It’s a cheap trick to get us to buy the next “latest and greatest” while they are quietly moving the goalposts around.

When I first got the APP2, I could not hear anything with the Noise Cancellation on. I couldn’t even hear people or the trains and cars speeding by when walking by.
Currently, they still cancel noise but it’s nowhere near as good as before, I’ve cleaned the vents with blu tack and have ear tips that fit well. I can still hear cars and trains with Noise Cancellation turned on. It still works well compared to other earbuds but nowhere near as good as before

I remember testing the anc when i first bought these by clicking fingers. Couldn’t hear a thing. Now I can hear people speak in other rooms. It’s not because of dirt or dust either. I keep mine clean all the time. I read somewhere its because apple has a lawsuit with some other headphone company going on. Anyway its not going to get better. Don’t buy these for the Anc. Will be disappointed.
