I posted in here a few weeks ago saying that the Cricket Debut Flip had group messaging that works right.
It does, but other key aspects of the phone are pretty problematic, to the extent that I'm planning to ditch the phone in a few days.

Call quality is fine/good

Texting and picture messaging is fair. Really nice to have group messaging that works right! Picture messaging is what you'd expect for a dumbphone. All emojis come in as grey boxes. The T9 predictive text works as you'd expect. The Google Assistant voice-to-text is fairly buggy and doesn't write anything that I tell it half the time.
-
The Contacts app is really buggy. I start typing in my contact name and it either searches for the contact in a few seconds, deletes half the letters I wrote, or freezes the phone, depending on the phone's mood.

If someone else calls you while you're on another call, the "call waiting" tone has a 50% chance of continuing indefinitely until you restart the phone. INCREDIBLY ANNOYING when you're on a conference call or whatever.

Battery life is noticeably worse than the Alcatel Smartflip. Comparable to your average smartphone - pretty close to dead at the end of a day with a few conference calls in it.
Regardless.. hopefully the next version of this phone/OS will fix these bugs. But for me, they're bad enough to make me get rid of the phone and try something else :-(
