Hey everyone!
I’m curious to hear from people using the Apple Watch SE 3—both GPS and GPS + Cellular versions. How has your experience been so far?
Any standout pros or cons?
Battery life, reliability, and performance?
Any surprises, good or bad, since you started using it?
Just trying to get a sense of real-world use before diving in. Would love to hear your thoughts!

I’m a first time user, trying to stay within budget - se 3 with cellular ( 249 ) vs 11 without cellular ( 349) I’m young, not much in need of all health features , mainly would be using it to for my fitness journey, to stay active and i guess improve my sleeping habits as well.
Cellular is a good option for me i as it allows independent calling , which I guess can come in handy whenever I’m out and my phone dies , which happens more times than id like , or even to bike without my phone in pocket
On the other hand I don’t want to settle for a watch that might not last that long/ miss out on battery/ glass durability
I don’t plan on buying another watch for atleast 4-5 years and want one which would run good.
( Tried the 42 mm 11 and it looks good on my wrist i guess, if se3 - which one to get 40/44 since I’ll be placing the order online )
Thanksss <3
I had the SE 1 watch for about 4 to 5 years. I decided to get the SE 3 (wifi only) since I tend to get the cheaper apple products. The always on display is super useful in certain places. I use a shortcut to trigger it at the gym or while I'm out of the house.
The battery is great and lasts me well over 24 hours. The most power I use is when I swim in the morning. I am still at 55% after hitting 24 hours (timed it multiple times to be sure).
I am very satisfied with the SE 3 and have used it since the 19th. I don't care for the sleep scoring AT ALL. It makes no sense so I can't trust it. It says I got great sleep but I feel like crap with low rem/core sleep?
Being able to read the watch underwater or in the sunlight is so nice considering the SE 1 was outdated to me. I don't care for the fitness buddy and frankly, i wouldn't be able to hear it while swimming.
I got the 44MM which is bigger than my 42MM SE 1. I love the bigger screen and it is still comfy to sleep in. Apple always impresses even on the cheaper products.
I've never owned and Ultra or a Series watch so I don't know what I am missing but I am satisfied with the SE 3 so far.
11 yo has SE 3 watch with cellular, no iPhone. Does Japan support this with a Japanese cell plan or what? Can’t find a true answer anywhere. Moving there next summer and trying to get things straightened out.
I've been using my SE (2022) for almost two years and a half & am now considering upgrading to Series 11 or SE 3.
The Apple Watch SE 3 claims to be "Up to 18 hours", "Up to 32 hours in Low Power Mode" and "Fast-charge capable 0–80% in about 45 minutes ; 15 minutes for up to 8 hours)". But this isn't ideal as my SE is "Up to 18 hours" and "Low Power Mode" according to Apple's comparison website.
The Apple Watch Series 11 claims to be "up to 24 hours", "up to 38 hours in Low Power Mode" and "Fast-charge capable 0–80% in about 30 minutes ; 15 minutes for up to 8 hours)". Which seems more interesting on paper however it seems people are doubting the actual difference in battery life.
I mainly use my watch to record workouts and track sleep nevertheless continuously run into the issue of having low battery. Thus, features like Precision Finding for iPhone vs. Find iPhone, Snorkel, Depth gauge to 6m, Water temperature sensor, Hypertension notifications, ECG app, Blood Oxygen app, Up to 2000 vs. 1000 nits, Wide-angle OLED vs. OLED, LTPO3 vs. LTPO, 42 vs. 40m aluminum case are not that important!
Any advice is appreciated :)
**TLDR** Upgrading from SE (2022) mainly for better battery (workouts + sleep tracking). Don’t care about extra health/display features. On paper Series 11 looks better than SE 3, but is the real-world battery life actually noticeably better, or not worth it?
According to Andrew Gebhart the SE3 gets nearly two days battery life with regular, usual use
Is anyone here planning to buy the SE 3? Do you think it’s worth it?
Researching into what watch to buy, i wondered why many people do not recommend the SE 1 + 2? What difference is there in features that makes it so affordable? Im only interested in one simply for tracking steps and calories / activity , would the se be a good option for me?
After searching for so long, this Apple Watch SE3 44mm was the perfect Christmas gift. I used to have a Series 4, and it easily lasted all day without active notifications and with wrist-turn monitoring. I'll be testing this new watch over the next few days to see how the battery life and overall performance are. So far, I really like the difference in screen size between this one and the Series 4 40mm. I'll keep you posted!
To all SE Users i am Kind of new to the Apple Watch And i wanted to buy one for Christmas. Now I am sceptical of the battery life and how long it needs to charge I was and it’s missing features in comparison to the newer watches, now I was thinking about buying an Apple Watch Series 8 because it is in kind of the same price category and has more features but I am not able to find one that guarantees that it is waterproof because most refurbished websites don’t offer a guaranteed waterproof watch. No, I am wondering if some of you guys could just share me your information of how you like your Apple Watch SE and how it impacted your life and maybe know where to get a series 8 :D thanks!
I got the new Apple Watch SE 3 - Cellular, from India, using in India, with Airtel Postpaid plan on my phone.
During setup watch app asks to setup Cellular, so I did, and it took overnight but app shows Airtel plan is active.
But I am unable to use Cellular on the Watch itself, it shows No connection under Cellular settings, under Status. It shows AirTel under plan on the watch, has been over 24 hours that it shows the plan there.
I have tried repairing, restarting phone and watch. If anyone has faced this issue and have successfully resolved it, would much appreciate the help.
