My designer has recommended the Brizo Artesso faucet. Went to go see in person but store didn't have it, will need to keep looking. We did see a Waterstone faucet my husband liked. It felt high quality and he loved the spray lever instead of a button to change modes.
Does anyone know if the Brizo Artesso faucet defaults to the standard aerated stream even if it was last used in spray mode? That's one of our biggest pet peeves with our current faucets. Someone uses it in spray mode but it stays in spray mode until you switch it back. Prefer a faucet with the momentary switch like the Waterstone or automatic switch to always start with standard stream.

Get what you want!!! My house came with a Brizo, I don't recall the model name. It looks great. The kitchen was used by the last owner for about a year, maybe 18 months. And the faucet leaks, the handle fell off (which I tightened and is sort of understandable). I thought maybe the install was sub par, but a plumber told me the cartridge needs to be changed. Idk if Brizo has a reputation of failing so early. Maybe there's a warranty, but I don't have time, and I have a long punch list.

I have an Axor Citerrio faucet that has been excellent. I got it on EBay for ~$300 instead of the close to $1000 list price. It has the feature you mention regarding spray functions. It feels very high end and solid. I can’t speak to Brizio or Waterstone.
