My package has been stuck in transit since 10 days, so i want to know if i should be worried or everything is alright?
Where can Asendia deliver shipments?
How long does Asendia take to deliver?
Delivery times depend on the service selected by the sender, the destination country, customs procedures, and the final-mile carrier. Cross-border shipments usually take longer than domestic deliveries because they move through export handling, international transport, import processing, and local distribution.
- Priority services: Usually faster and better suited for time-sensitive shipments.
- Standard cross-border services: Often used for general e-commerce orders and may take several business days to a few weeks depending on the route.
- Economy services: Usually the slowest option and may involve fewer scan events during transit.
Transit times can increase during peak seasons, customs backlogs, weather disruptions, or destination-country delivery delays.
How do I track Asendia shipments?
i ordered something on august 14th, and it seemed to be moving quite nicely according to the tracking information but since the 20th of august it has said "Departed Asendia Facility", it is now september the 6th and there seems to be no progress...how long should i be waiting before acting -it has been over three weeks since i ordered- and what would i even do?
update it arrived in time for the persons birthday and she loved it!!! thx y’all for all the helpful replies, i was very stressed about it and y’all calmed me down a lot 😊
I have had this problem while shipping art internationally during covid. Especially since there's the new thing where Etsy has international shipping sort facilities. I had two pieces sit in a sort facility for three weeks, when they were headed to Germany from the US.
It is most likely way out of the control of your seller. It is a sign of the times we are living through. Your seller is likely already stressed out that the postal service is such a dice roll right now, too.
The seller used Etsy's Global Shipping, which goes through Asendia, as you can see from the tracking. Now... the thing about Asendia is they're a budget shipping company. What they do is collect a load of packages until they have enough to fill a shipping container, which might take a few weeks or even a month or two. Once the crate is full, they ship it to the destination country, which I think they're doing by sea rather than air right now. So... it takes a while.
Between 20th August and 6th September is less than 3 weeks, which in Asendia time just... isn't very long at all. Asendia was slow even before we had a global pandemic. That said, when I order something online and see the seller has used Asendia, I know there's a 50% chance of the package just being... yeeted into the Atlantic? No idea. But at 3 weeks, it's still too early to say it's lost, and the seller won't be able to do much at this stage anyway. Even in pre-pandemic times, any time frame less than 6 weeks was too early to say an international package was lost.
So be patient a little longer, and then contact the seller after it's been 6 weeks since it was dispatched (not 6 weeks since you placed the order, 6 weeks since the shipping date.)
I have purchased at graphic tee from a seller on etsy and they have sent it via a shipping carrier called asendia. I have never heard of this company in my entire life so I thought it was a domestic shipping carrier. The seller shipped out my order and all seemed well. But, I started getting suspicious when I saw that for the past two days it has just been sitting at the "Asendia Hub Rodgau" even though the seller told me it was shipped. I am worried it will take ages to arrive and am worried that this company is not trustworthy. if anyone knows anything about this courier, please tell me.
Thanks! :)
