Getting started โ€” Awkward Array 2.13.0 documentation
ak.combinations() is Awkward Arrayโ€™s primitive for sampling without replacement: it makes an array of all pairs drawn from an array and itself without duplicates. It emulates nested for loops that avoid repeating the same element. These pairs (or triples, etc.) are tuples, which are records without field names. Often, nested=True is a useful argument to avoid flattening the output. ... See the last section of How Awkward broadcasting works. What if I need more help? What if I think Iโ€™ve found a bug? After checking the tutorials on the left-bar of this Getting started guide, the User guide, and the API reference, you can ask questions about how to use a feature or solve a problem on Awkward Arrayโ€™s GitHub Discussions.

Quickstart
Awkward Array is a library for nested, variable-sized data, including arbitrary-length lists, records, mixed types, and missing data, using NumPy-like idioms. Arrays are dynamically typed, but operations on them are compiled and fast. Their behavior coincides with NumPy when array dimensions ...

Awkward Array: Guide to Work with JSON-like Nested, Variable-sized Datasets using Numpy-like Idioms by Sunny Solanki
November 20, 2021 - The awkward array let us work with tree-like nested data structure as if we are working with numpy arrays. The code designed using awkward array to work with tree-like data structure is fast like numpy code working on arrays. As a part of this tutorial, we'll explain how to create and work with awkward arrays with simple examples.

Ragged arrays do not have shapes that can be described by a collection of integers. Instead, Awkward Array uses an extended version of the DataShape layout language to describe the structure and type of an Array.
