So I'm currently running the newest 23.2.2 driver for my 7900xtx. Call of Duty's website recommends 22.9.1. Game is crashing sometimes on 23.2.2. I read to update drivers then I read to use the recommended ones. Kinda stuck here. Will the old 22.9.1 still work on my 7900XTX?

Always go latest unless driver issues that can be avoided by rolling back, but always bug report the issues you are having you are likely not alone.
Make sure you installed latest DDU and go into options disable windows driver update, and do clean install of the drivers so go into safe mode by holding shift while restarting windows use DDU to clean drivers.
Re download the stable drivers you wanna use for example 23.2.2 then re download the chipset drivers and reinstall both and check if issue persist.
22.9.1 doesn't support 7900xtx. The recommend one for the game are slow to be updated.
Hello
Just wanted to start Warzone 2.0 and im getting an error message that my AMD drivers are too old ?
Just did a fresh install of AMD adrenaline and it keeps happening.
Anyone else has the same problem?
Thanks
Hello all! I have some questions regarding the best way to increase my performance for COD Warzone.
I’m a very competitive player and almost everyday it feels like my game is running differently than the day before, constantly feels like I have input delay with my controller (controller is “overclocked”) and nothing ever feels consistent.
I constantly get screen tears, FPS isn’t great and game overall just runs crappy. I know Warzone is a poorly optimized game but I feel like there has to be something I can change to help it run better.
Can anyone please recommend the best AMD Adrenaline settings, best driver for this game specifically and anything else that may help? I will list my computer specs below, thank you.
(I play 1440 and get around 120-150FPS, FPS doesn’t concern me too bad as I’ve chosen to play 1440 I’m just tired of feeling constant input delay.)
G.Skill 32G D5 6000mhz
MSI PRO B650-P WI-FI ATX
AMD RYZEN 7 7700X
POWERCOLO FIGHTER RX6700XT GAMING
850W power supply
MSI MAG CORELIQUID 240R V2
Since Radeon Drivers 20.9.1 were optimized for the beta and 20.10.3 is optimized for the final release of MWII, I decided to compare both drivers using the in-game benchmark (RX 6600 XT + 5600X - medium settings).
