Recently the deals don’t feel like much anymore. What’s the most worth it deal you guys found this season, clothing and retail wise?
Do people still line up all night at best buy?
Are there better deals in person vs online?
It didn't seem like there were any good boxing day deals this year. Was it just me?
I looked around the mall and online, and it seemed like none of it was as good as Black Friday. Thoughts?
This post might be a bit early and I’ve checked the deals online (not as good as you would hope) did anyone find anything exciting or a good bargain while shopping in person?
Will you be shopping in person or online on Boxing Day? Or a mix of both?
I'm probably not going to go out to the malls this year. Just gonna browse boxing day deals from my computer. Wbu?
Happy Boxing Day everyone!
For those who don't know me I run JB Buddy, a free price comparison service for electronics at Aussie retailers. My point of difference is this is a community project launched on Reddit and I only compare Aussie stock meaning you can price match at your retailer of choice.
The site works as a search engine for an exact model number or SKU number from JB Hi-Fi
The main website compares real-time prices of TV's, Laptops, Phones, Tablets, Headphones, Soundbars, Wearables, Game Consoles, VR and Vacuums (with more coming).
However, I'm currently experimenting with a product picker so if you or a family member is looking to get a TV, Laptop or Phone today you can use https://jbbuddy.com/pick/ instead of manually searching the model number. For everything else the main site has you covered.
The homepage also has a price jumps table so you can see all the mark-ups on products and actual sales.
And most products you search will have a price history chart so you can see if the Boxing Day "sale" is a real sale or not.
Some examples as usual:

I can't lie, each year discounts on these sale days have not been as crazy as it was like a couple years ago.
Boxing Day Sale 2025-2026 Non-NA Megathread
Boxing Day Sale 2025-2026 Rant Megathread
'Twas the night before Boxing Day, when all through r/LushCosmetics
Not a creature was stirring, not even a scrubee;
The knot wraps were hung by the chimney with care,
In hopes that beautiful gift boxes soon would be there;
The lushies were nestled all snug in their beds,
While visions of snow fairies danced in their heads;
And the moderators in their fresh face masks,
Had just settled down for a long winter's bath,
...
Hello all of you lovely Lushies!
Warmest holiday wishes and good tidings to you all from your moderator team here at r/lushcosmetics.
We are just around the corner from every Lush fans favourite day of the year- Boxing Day! We have created this Boxing Day megathread for all news, rumours, questions, tips and stories regarding the possible boxing day sale!
When/If the Boxing Day Sale happens, we are not restricting PHYSICAL haul posts to be included in this mega thread. We do ask that when you make boxing day haul posts to please use the 'Boxing Day Sale' post flair, as well as include a comment on your post with additional information about your boxing day sale purchase or experience. For example, how early did you get there? Or which of these are a new purchase for you? What are you sad was not in stock? Any surprise items included in your store's sale,etc.
We also ask that you wait until your haul actually arrives before sharing as a new post, with screenshots of your order/cart to be kept within the megathread. Thank you for your help with this team; it really helps us keep the sub tidy during our busiest time.

What is the Lush Boxing Day Sale?
In years past, Lush has held a Boxing Day Sale, on- you guessed, Boxing Day- December 26th. The sale has been held both in-store and online. This was typically the only time of year that Lush has a sale (the freshness sale was the first non-boxing day sale many of us have seen!), so it is quite a big deal to lovers of all things Christmas Pud and Snow Fairy and good smelling. Every year sale details vary from country to country. (Some countries are in-store only, others online, or some not at all.) The sale is for Halloween and Christmas line products only, although discontinued and end-of-freshness date products have are sometimes included. Products on sale are offered as either half-price or Buy One, Get One Free (the cheaper of the two products being discounted.) Some stores will also include products that are possibly being discontinued or are close to expiration/manufactured before a certain date but this is not guaranteed and will vary from shop to shop.
Happy holidays to everyone, and happy (potential) Boxing Day Sale hunting!
I saw that some discussions on a CAA phone plan on another thread that was quite good, so I wanted to broaden the discussion to other categories. Otherwise, I wouldn’t want to go out into all that shopping chaos.
It’s starting. Can’t add stuff yet to carts but some good prices already.
I’m a little stuck between wanting to get more into anti-consumption and anti-capitalism, but also at the same time being VERY broke and never getting to buy myself anything nice. Are there any genuinely good deals to look out for as a little treat to myself? I’m trying to toe the line and not buy anything unnecessary while also seizing the moment to get myself a late Christmas present without spending a crazy amount :) I’m in the UK, if that makes any difference!

Just like the title says. What are the best Boxing Day sales? What’s the item you’ll brave the stores for?
Best sale is keeping your money
I think we are going to find that Boxing Day Sales are not nearly as good as they used to be.
Black Friday seems to be the day now. And if it isn’t on sale on Black Friday, just wait a few weeks as these items seem to go on sale in a fairly regular rotation.
Let us know if you've spotted any great (or even just fine!) Boxing Day sales from Canadian companies!
