I have not yet tested many registrars, but from what I've heard those are good:
gandi.net joker.com godaddy.com (seen a lot of bad reviews too), registrar.amazon.com, Googledomains.com (now Squarespacedomains), gkg.net Misk.com ait.com dynadot.com
MarkMonitor.com ComLaude.com (Corporate Domain Name registrars)
What I've used:
Cloudflare, NameCheap, NameSilo, SpaceShip
I liked NameCheap and Cloudflare but the thing that annoys me about Cloudflare is that I can't change nameservers with them.
NameSilo is good but I can't set up domain defender due to me having signed up with my google which sucks.
I personally don't like SpaceShip's UI but they are cheap asf.
I am unsure what I should choose there are so many good domain name registrars, and TrustPilot reviews aren't that helpful.
EDIT: I fixed a sentence due to it being confused but what I meant Cloudflare Name servers aren't changeable.
"Best" Domain Registrar

How do I choose the right domain registrar?
While price is a big factor, there are also other areas to consider when choosing the right domain registrar. These include customer support, security, and effortless account management. All of which come as standard with Namecheap — alongside a great price, of course.
What factors define the best domain registrar?
How does domain registration work?
Think of the name you want to register. The answer is typically your company or website name. It is best to keep your domain name short and easy to understand. Say it out loud, and make sure it sounds great. Next, search to see if it is available. If the name you desire is taken with the .com top-level domain, there are hundreds of others available. Finally, add the top choices to your cart and complete the domain registration.

I have recently been working on improving my overall website setup and would like to have a setup which i not have to worry about changing or updating anytime soon.
My current domain registrar is SiteGround and website host is Rocket.net
Does domain registrar play a role in the overall speed of your website? How would you objectively decide on a “good registrar”? What is your domain registrar and how why did you chose?
Some of the factors i can think of in helping the decision could include:
-
Reliable
-
Customer support
-
Not a reseller
-
Domain registration is their core or a vital part of their business model
-
Easy to transfer
-
Is the company going to be around in the next 5-10 years
-
Speed (if it plays a role)
Based on the initial research that I have done, i am leaning towards IONOS or Cloudflare. Maybe Cloudflare. And one of the reasons is that Microsoft lists both of them in their list of recommended domain registrars.
+1 for IONOS (was 1&1). Been with them since… ~1999. Never been forced off my package as the options evolve. I have upgraded/moved package a few times and never had any issues.
For my new business I'm looking for the best domain registrar.
Requirements :
-
A domain name
-
Two Email ID
Many people suggesting Cloudflare for very nominal fees. But they don't have email service.
Considering the Price, Customer support, which is best domain registrar?
I've used GoDaddy, but never will in the future. They happen to be a customer of ours, and knowing how their environment is setup scares me.
I've heard many good things about pairnic.com.
Namecheap.com, I have been using this for the past 3 years and would never think to change. I have accounts on all other popular ones for when I buy domains off people (GoDaddy etc) and I think they are all crap. I would use NameCheap for everything if I could.
