best fabric for pants??
Recommendations for a pants fabric that will breathe in the Texas heat.
The Pajama Spectrum
A form fitting soft tshirt that is on the longer side, plus drawstring pants - flannel in winter and silk in summer.
I have recently started caring a lot more about pajamas (covid, middle age, idk?) and it is really actually helping my sleep. I am sensitive to fabrics too and it has made a difference.
I have been buying silk on super sale from various websites and it is usually ~70-80 pair for a "good" deal on quality pants. Flannel you can get easily at old navy etc. I love Anthropologie's but you really can take advantage of flannel's low cost.

Heya! So l'm super new to sewing clothes, l've made a single sweatshirt and now I think I can do anything- I'm wanting to make a pair of pants for a costume but I have no clue what fabric to use. I've been told Cotten is to thin, so I'm wondering what other options there are. Its going to be a pair of slacks but I want a little stretch to it, and I have so sensory issues so the smoother the better. What should I go with? Preferably something I can get from Joanna or Michaels but I do have another fabric store I can go to if all else fails (they're just super expensive)
